Amarillo College’s Hispanic Pupil Affiliation hosted its Household Enjoyable Evening “La Cultura Hispana es Familia” in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month on Friday night.

Hispanic Heritage Month is Sept. 15 by Oct. 15, and it’s designed to acknowledge the achievements and contributions of Hispanic-American champions who’ve impressed others to attain success. The 2022 theme is “Unidos: Inclusivity for a Stronger Nation.”
The celebration continues Thursday with the HSA’s “Meals Truck Frenzy” on the Washington Road Campus from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. A portion of the proceeds raised through the lunchtime festivities will profit AC’s HSA.
To convey the Hispanic Heritage Month celebration to an in depth, HSA will provide “Loteria” a recreation of Mexican Bingo to the AC Familia, permitting college students and workers a free likelihood to check their luck and win a prize. The Loteria occasion will likely be held Thursday, Oct. 6 starting at 11: 45 a.m.
