Golf Returns to Motion at Ironwood Collegiate Basic – Temple – Temple College Athletics

Greenville, N.C. – Temple Golf returns to motion on October 3 when the Owls journey to North Carolina to 2022 Ironwood Collegiate Basic, hosted by American Athletic Convention member East Carolina. The 2-day, 54-hole occasion will likely be held at Ironwood Golf and Nation Membership.

First spherical motion is about to start with a shotgun begin at 9 a.m. on Monday, whereas Tuesday’s spherical begins at 8 a.m. from the primary and tenth tees.

Previewing the Owls

> Temple is coming off a win on the Cornell/Temple Fall Invite with sophomore Ethan Whitney recording his first collegiate victory.

> Whitney leads the Owls with a 69.6 stroke common and his been at even or under par in 4 of his 5 rounds this season.

> Co-captains Conor McGrath and Graham Chase are subsequent for the Cherry and White.  McGrath, a two-time PING all-Area honoree, is off to a different excellent begin with a 70.4 stroke common with Chase simply behind him at 71.4 strokes per spherical. 

> Rounding out the group’s beginning 5 for this event is Joey Morganti (74.6) and Andrew Curran (73.2). 

> Taking part in as people are Andres Aranguren (74.0) and Darren Nolan (75.0).

> Becoming a member of Temple and East Carolina within the 12-team occasion are Barton College, Delaware, Gardner Webb, Longwood, NC Central, NC A&T, Queens, UMES, William & Mary and Winthrop.
