Man arrested after abusing 10-year-old for spending e book honest cash on snacks, police say – KSAT San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO – A person is behind bars for abusing his 10-year-old youngster after she spent cash he gave her for a college e book honest on snacks, in keeping with San Antonio police.
Agyei Kobins Gore, 31, is charged with damage to a baby with intent to trigger bodily damage following the incident on Sept. 20, in keeping with an arrest affidavit.
Gore’s daughter cried out to high school employees within the nurse’s workplace two days after the incident, saying she was scared. Police stated she had “in depth bruising to each of her arms, face, and swelling” to her left leg, the affidavit states.
The kid advised police Gore had given her cash for her faculty’s e book honest. However as a substitute of spending the cash on books, she purchased snacks as a substitute.
When she went residence, her father observed she had a e book issued by the college and never one which she purchased herself, in keeping with SAPD. The kid then confessed to having spent the cash on meals.
The affidavit states that Gore obtained “very upset and offended” and known as the kid’s aunt, telling her it was “Scorching Woman Summer time.”
Moments later, police stated Gore and the kid’s aunt pinned her down and took turns hitting her repeatedly with a belt.
After the kid spoke out in regards to the abuse, police stated her accidents appeared to come back from “blunt pressure trauma” and that her left leg was “severely swollen,” an affidavit states.
In accordance with Bexar County court docket data, Gore was arrested Saturday, Oct. 1. He’s being held within the Bexar County Jail and his bond is about at $15,000.
